32I was developed for use by N.A.S.A. in the Apollo Program.  32I is unique because of the extreme temperature range in which it operates as well as its ability to bond with the metal creating a thin film of lubrication without a greasy buildup.  32I is non-electrolytic.  It will prevent metal corrosion and is not harmful to most plastics* or high alloy metals.  Its unique properties have created a number of unusual applications for it such as camera lubrication and photograph polishing.

TSI 321 is a non staining lubricant. It withstands high pressures, frees rusted or frozen parts, dissolves grease and rust, will not cake and gum, reduces friction, protects metal and wood, and prevents seizure. It is not electrically conductive.
TSI 321 works better because it forms a thin film which is adsorbed by metal. It is non flammable, prevents corrosion and will not attract dirt, dust or lint.
An engineering evaluation was conducted at Honeywell, Philadelphia Division. Fort Washington, PA to determine if TSI 321 was an adequate or superior replacement for the presently specified petroleum based lubricant. The results of the tests proved conclusively that TSI 321 is an excellent lubricant with rust inhibiting and oxidation preventative properties which far excel anything that has ever been tested. It’s lubricating qualities showed no breakdown with load, temperature or time. The results of the tests were favorable and an Engineering Specification has been written approving it for general use as a single component lubricant for Honeywell, Philadelphia Division.

TSI 301 contains a solvent and is not recommended for use on plastics but ideal for use with metals.
TSI 321 does not contain a solvent and is highly recommended for use where most plastics* are present.

*TSI321 is compatible with all plastics except PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) and PVB (poly-vinyl butyral). If in doubt test before use.
